I am in need of Your Prayers, once again.
My Mother had Surgery on August 3rd to have a Cyst Removed from Her Spinal Cord.
The Cyst turned out to be Scar Tissue, but when Removed Left My Mother Paralyzed from Her Chest Down.
We have now Moved Her to a Rehabilitation Center where She is Learn to Adapt to Her New Disability.
Please, Pray the Doctors are Wrong and that She will Regain Use of Her Legs Again.

i don't know if it's appropriate to share someone else's story here, but i know a guy who had a nasty accident a year ago & his family was told he'd either die or be a vegetable forever. fortunately, the doctors were wrong & he's getting back to himself and living at home & everything now. here's a link to their story if you're interested.

I am so sorry. I can't imagine. You and your mom are in my thoughts. There are countless people who with will and determination tell the dr.'s they can go screw themselves.
My aunt was stricken with pollio as a baby, while her dr. was on vacation. By Monday morning it took the use of her legs. The dr's told her she would never walk. Her mother chose to ignore them and over the next few years my aunt learned to walk with braces. When she was five,She walked ( with mom) to her dr.'s and proved them wrong.
May you have the moment where you get to tell your mother's dr. to go f**k themselves.

Sorry to hear the news, Missy.
Acupuncture could help her. I am amazed with how much it helps my mom. She is practically running now when she walks since we began acupuncture again.
