My Schedule is Not Slowing Down with the Coming of August, seems to be Getting More Hectic!
The Girls and McCoy will begin School August 3rd, which is also the Day of My Mother's Surgery.
I have been Manic Trying to Get Everything In Order before Her Hospital Stay.
My Parents always Grow a Huge Garden.
This Year, We have All been Trained in Drying, Canning, and Freezing Garden Goodies.
The Girls have LOVED Staying On the Farm.
We have Chased Cattle, Gone Fishing, Caught Frogs, Lightening Bugs, and Tadpoles...
We have Ridden ATV's, Tractors, and Horses.
We have Picked Blackberries, Strawberries, Beans, and Scabs. LOL
We are All Ready for School to Begin.
The Girls will Again be Attending Pre-School and this time We are Putting Them in the Same Class.
We feel We have "Caught Layla Up" this Summer and Hope She and Tuesday will Continue to Bloom.
McCoy cannot Wait for Fall as He has already Began to Feed the Deer.
He will Begin Middle School and is actually Excited.
He will be Changing Classes with Six Different Teachers.
He will have a Lot More Responsibility, but I have Faith He can Handle It All.
My StepSon, Joshua has Left for Basic Training.
The Cougar has Promised to Wait for His Return...
My Other StepSon, Dillon has been Accepted into the State Trooper Academy.
He will have His Own BootCamp of Sorts, this Fall.
Toni Lived Through Surgery and She is Wobbling around Continuing to Harass Me!!!
I have Missed So Much with My Time Off from Blogging...

Hurray!!! A post from the fabulous Missy. I am sure the girls will always remember this special time on the farm getting up close and personal with nature. They really are blessed to have this experience. A lot going on in your family with military, highway patrol and school. Thanks for making our evening and say hey to your folks for me.

Life on the farm sounds fantastic. The kids around here don't start school until the middle of August. I am not ready for it. Good lick with everything...
Nice to see you back! I've missed ya! WOW! Your kids start school already on the 3rd!? Are they trying to make up for lost time for last winter?! We start on the 16th and that's too soon for me! We're going shopping tomorrow for supplies and clothes and...well...everything! LOL Sounds like ya'll had fun on the farm...I wish my kids could experience something like that...especially my daughter...she needs to be busy all the time or she's "bored"! :o)

Busy times indeed! I have no doubt that my boys would LOVE to spend a summer on a farm too. Especially a farm with ATVs.
